I guess I'm slowly moving on with life. Today I finally decide to get rid of a pillow which has been which me since I was born. Went to so many places with me even when I was all grown up. It grew smaller and small as I grew bigger and older. The old cotton is giving out twigs. The pillow case too was as old. It has a horse and a rider. The colour has faded too but I was too sad to get rid of it. The sides are torn and tattered. It was the only thing that would help me sleep even till now. I'm gonna miss it. Believe it or not, I think there's a celebration in the sky. Fireworks just went off. 

The job has taken it's toll today. Almost sucked out everything from me. But I got through it safely. Thank God for giving me wonderful people to work with. They may be a pain sometimes but they get me through the day. Just so worn out!

Got the blogger app in my iPhone 4 now! Back in business! It's been more than a year since I last blogged. Since then I've graduated from nursing school and started working about 2 months now. The work has been kind to me. I'm not in the nursing department but in customer care department. Many feel discouraged for me but I would take the first 6 months as a valuable experience and decide where to go from there.

Been goin to many places, met different people from as walks of life and still learning about myself and the world. :)

Getting Drunk Is No Fun

I spent last Saturday most of the time out. I slept over at grandma's place in TD. Then Krys came over about 11 after staying over at her friend's place. She had her 'farewell' the night before. We had lunch with Uncle Mun in Taman Megah and he dropped us off at Jaya 33. We were there for a undergarment warehouse sale. Got a few stuff and continued shopping at the bazaar in the lobby. Bought 2 pairs of earrings, 2 shirts and went to McD for a bite.

The whole world was gonna celebrate 'Earth Hour' at 8.30pm. It was a year ago that I saw the lights out in KL. So I thought of going to see it again. First I called Dominic but he didn't pick up then I called Justin whom I saw only once last year. He sounded rather excited and I knew I had a date! Mum came to pick us up after her appointment. Came home, shower and waited. By 7.15, he was already at the station. So I hopped into the train and was 1 stop away. Went for dinner at ampang point. Saw the lights go off and had a little quiet time eating and laughing and observing. Birthday songs were sang.

Then we decided to buy drinks. And played card games with a lot of booze. Drank so much in so little time for the first time. Maybe things got a little out of hand for a while and then whole drama-scene begun. The rest is history.

We starting seeing each other for a week as friends with benefits but I just felt so out of the league.

Pangkor was all fun!=D THO I did fall off the bicycle, I came home in one piece!

It was rather a last minute decision to go to Pangkor. I think there was a misunderstanding somewhere at first. Richard thought I was having classes during the time of that week which turned out that I was on a week long break. So it was decided that Richard, Andie, Andy, CT, Jia Yi and I were going.

Somewhere within the week there some changes which I wasnt aware of. We were invited to Matt's open house with a rather late invitation and I thought I missed it. The invitation said 8.30 but he didn't mention whether it was in the morning or in the night. By the time I got up it was already noon. We came back rather early in the morning from Raub due to the traffic. Mum and Krys didn't go to work and the whole family went out to Ikea for lunch and I had an appointment with Ben and HF at 4.

I was late and Ben had to wait a little. We went to pick up HF and was debating over where to go. We ended up in KL. Ben was rather lost since he hadn't drove in KL for so long. And it started raining when we hit the highway down to KL. Water started to flow into his car through the window on his side. We had a good laugh. It kinda reminded me back in 2007 when I was on my way to the airport, it was raining so heavy that dad's car had the same problem except the water was coming in on the passenger seat where I was sitting. I thought I was leading to somewhere else. However we managed to find our way there safely. We went to TGI Friday for tea I think. Walked around for a little and I needed cash for the trip. Tried to withdraw from an ATM at Pavilion but my card doesn't seem to like other machines but the CIMB ones. So we went over to Star Hill Gallery since that's the only place I remember going to get cash from.

Ben looked so lost in KL. The amazed look on his face is so unforgettable. Then we went to the washroom. As we were going in, a guy suddenly fell in front of us. I thought he was drunk and maybe dislocated his arm. Ben again was amused by service in the washroom. After all the amazement, we went back to Pavilion and saw many people crowding at the entrance. Well took some pictures and admire the lanterns hanging down at the entrance. Definitely in the CNY mood. We went for ice-cream after walking for so long. It was a Japanese dessert shop. HF and I ordered black sesame ice-cream while Ben ordered blended ice chocolate. After so much talk and giggles we went back to TD. Dropped HF home and Ben dropped me off at Rich's place.

We went over to Matt's place together since I wasn't sure who else were there. Aunt Lucy made food and I passed. TGIF filled my tummy pretty well. So it was time to share some money at the table. We played '21' and I lost a little. More peeps turned up. Mich and Xiao-Ly came too. Besties that I haven't seen in ages! But there wasn't much to say. Then there was some fun outside. Matt and Mich started playing with some mini fireworks on the street.

Left home to pack for Pangkor about 11. Andie reached home about then too.

LOTS & LOTS & LOTS OF YUMMY FOOD!!!!

Up since 11.30am. Started with the jelly without mum. There was a commotion earlier in the morning but i slept on. Mum was at the market. Kyrs was at the laptop, Dad was washing the backyard. I went to the kitchen and saw a big pot of soup sitting on the stove boiling away.

It has preserved salted vegetables, red chilies, tomatoes, carrots, scallops, pork legs, pork bones, & dried asam, I think.

I started with the Japanese Konyaku jelly. I cooked it for quite some time. And then Mum came home and we had lunch. Then I continued making jellies till 4 pm. Made red jellies out of the Konyaku and yellow for the normal Agar-agar.

Then Mum did her part too, cooking turnips with carrots, mushrooms and dried jellyfish, fried chicken with fermented bean curd, fried mushrooms with broccoli and Chinese cooking wine, stew arrowheads with roast pork, and chicken curry.

Mum frying the chickens. Before she fried the chickens, I was sitting at the spot where she was frying ‘top hat’ for the turnip dish. I would say it’s a dangerous thing to do if you’re not careful. I burnt my fingers and feet. Well, they’re minor burnt. I was yelling for water most of the time. It’s a tough job. Needs lots of patience and skills. The mixture has to be right, the oil has the be hot, the mould has to be hot too and not too oily, must put in the mixture on time, not too fast, make sure they’re all cooked properly and it goes on. Be careful while handling the tongs, don’t splash the oil out or it’s MESSY!

I went straight into the shower and had a cold shower after being near heat for 6 hours. My fingers are still sore and there are red spots on my foot.

NEXT blog would be the FUN part..Presentation of food! The process of the dinner. All the laughter and together-ness makes up the meaning of ‘REUNION DINNER’.

Spring Cleaning

Rise and shine early today.

STRIP my bed, pillows bare, quilts all thrown into the wash. SUN them in blaring heat. By 2 hours all crisp and dry.

Vacuum the room. strip parents’ room beds as well.

While the sheets enjoy themselves in the sun I’m enjoy the heat in the house. Haven’t felt so light in a long time.

When Aunt Esther came earlier with lunch, she asked me to help her cover the beds in Grandma’s room. And guess what I discovered?!

Mum’s collection of tall Tupperwares storing keropok. Every year she would build the same tower. I think they just keep increasing in height.

LOOK! she chose this room because the ’rats’ wouldn’t came in here.

I’ve been baking cookies last week.

There are 2 more boxes outside and more in the fridge. Oh..And the tower of tissue rolls beside them. Dad’s has a thing for rolls. *SIGH!*

The outcome still feel the any other ordinary day. It’s different cos CNY is 2 days away.

Bake Them All!

I came home with 3 guests. Wang Sim, Lee Chin And Suk Ching. Lee Chin has an appointment at UH the next day for the burnt arm (which is sever but didn’t look that bad when I saw it.)

I decided to bake peanut butter cookies for CNY. They were all napping when I started. Dad helped me with the oven and the tasting. Mum was around to help me with the ingredients.

They woke up and came to help me get the dough prepared for the oven. They seemed to had fun doing. It was their first time. Later mum said to do other recipes. so we called 4th Grandaunt for the recipes and i went to the supermarket to get the rest of the ingredients with Dad.

We all had fun and a good night’s rest after that. They enquired if I was gonna start baking classes or sell the cookies next time. I said even if anyone would to order, i wouldn’t do it. It’s only an interest for me to bake not for business.

Christmas 2009

it was a white CHRISTMAS.

caroling, laughing, eating and just having fun on the eve.

it started in khang zhen's place in puchong then uncle larry's place and finally sue-shen's.

and it made me realize that it kinda ended like that last year.

out till past midnight on a weekday.

my voice became hoarse after the 1st house.

we had a youth party on sunday which we also had the christmas service in the morning. was out the whole day. after service, we had lunch and then went to sunway to get presents for exchange and then came home to collect my gift.

i met joyous! she's doing nursing too in segi college.

the event started late as people came late too. the food weren't ready and the place wasn't even organized when we arrived at 5 pm (which was the time stated in the invitation card). still needed help to arrange the tables and chairs, lay out the food..it was all a BIG mess.

however, THANK GOD we managed to get everything in order in a short time. there were a lot of food. cakes, tarts, rice, noodle, fish, spaghetti, bubble drinks which were really SWEET, sparkling wine, pizza...somehow i realized that i enjoy helping out at the back then just watching the whole thing prepared.

on christmas day, we attended the christmas service at life chapel. jasmine and u=i were half awake during the service. enjoyed their choir cum drama presentation. very creative indeed. had christmas lunch at home. then mum, dad and i went to bangsar to get some herbs for the roast pork on saturday. aftr dinner, the 3 of us went to the curve to watch the foam/snow fall at the curve. i think it's the same machines used up in genting. we watched it from high above to avoid getting in contact with the foam. mum and dad went on their own after that. i went to look for more novels at cineleisure.

and i bought a book. it's glenda larke's 'the mirage makers'.

and that's christmas!

the first week of holidays had been devastating. however towards the end, some enjoyment came up.

from monday to thursday i was contained in my room almost all day, sitting in front of the laptop, downloading series of dramas since the previous hard disk 'died' i've been spending a lot of time 'feeding' it.

friday came and i was out at tropicana city mall to meet jen jen. we bought tickets to watch the 5.45 pm 'new moon'. we had about 2 hours before the movie. so we went window shopping. the movie was still great and awesome for the 2nd time. i waited for mum a little longer to come while jen jen left earlier after the movie. i watched the christmas performance presented by the st. paul church. it made me look forward to christmas this year.

mum sent to taman desa to meet up with ct at pm. surprisingly, low kent and sue were there too. i was hungry but jia yi had no more laksa left. jia yi and ct left for gym at idaman while i went to mamak with low kent and sue. sue drove but couldn't find any parking, so she dropped us both there and went home. i filled my tummy with roti telur. it started raining really heavy. we just sat there and watched 'air force one' on axn. later on jia yi and ct joined us. jian hua, jeff, and kevin came too. all of them were puffing away while i was suffocating. so they planned to do something but wasn't sure. we dropped low kent home and went to jia yi's as he needs a shower before going out again. then kelvin came. so they decided to go to asia cafe since it's on the way back to my place.

saturday was not that bad. i managed to bake a cake and it didnt turn up the way i expected but it looked like a cake. stephanie, jasmine, aunt girlie, and aunt esther came after shopping i think. they came to see grandma who had been at our place since sunday. at night mum, dad and i went shopping. i went shopping for gift to exchange at the christmas party on sunday. and cant wait or christmas to come!!!!!

i’m always afraid of exams. feeling light-headed, cold sweats, butterflies in the tummy-were all the common signs. i didn’t like them. however i overcome them everytime somehow. i think praying helps alot. mum reminded me every morning to pray before my papers when i was sitting for my spm. and even now in college i’m going through the same thing again but it seems to have evolve. the feeling is not so prominent. but it only happen when i’m sitting the written papers. the practical part is the worst of all.

the thought and feeling of not reading or revising enough always conquered the mind. but i’d made up my mind. ever since i started college, when exam was near i would not spent alot of time studying instead i would be lazing around or watching tv the whole day or be on the internet for hours. the notes are always there but i didn’t touch them. i would go into the exam hall and spill out was i remember during classes other than that are what the others told me before the paper begins. i think it works better like that. the whole last minute studying doesn’t really work on itself. it needs a hard push.

i’ve gotten through the papers, now it’s the worst part again. practical exam is tomorrow. the feeling of my guts coming out before the exam is so real. i can’t even predict what will come out. my mind is blank when it come to procedure. i can’t bear to see what i’m gonna face tomorrow. i’m praying very hard that the easier procedure would come out tomorrow. it might not come true but no harm trying. and the results are coming out next week. the fear of not seeing christmas in peace is vividly painted.

i expected too much of today. i was kinda disappointed. but overall i guess it’s a great day. i only worked half day today since we were in endoscope. without realizing i was torturing myself in heels. (finally understood the saying, “running in heels” *it hurts*) walked a kilometer down to the train station. met up with naveen at kl sentral. we went to pavilion for lunch. we had japanese food. lotsa sushi. my heel had a huge blister so he end up buying me a pair of slippers as present. after that my feet were saved from torture. we continued walking around and then head over to haagen daaz. i had 2 scoops of cherry ice cream topped with fresh cream and rainbow rice. it was rather the climax of my day. so many colors in my hand. then we walked our way through sg wang plaza and bb plaza to get to time sq. we were there for an hour or so. we went back to kl sentral for a drink at starbucks. and after that i head home.

mum came to picked me from the station. we went to get a cake from the bakery. back home grand aunt kim was already there with the rest of her family. dad was busy preparing the steamboat ingredient. and we started cooking. however i was pretty much occupied with text messages. jasmine wished me from aus and jen jen was excited about meeting up after stpm finished. most of the time food were filling up in my bowl by someone else. ean and grand aunt were just arguing over who put what in and was gone.

after all that, the football match began. the guys and sis occupied the hall while dad was busy packing. the ladies were enjoying tea in the kitchen. i joined the game as well. after shower we cut the cake. it was a fruit flan.

the adults started playing mahjong. the rest of us watched movie. half way through i went to bed.

on saturday, we attended a deepavali open house and it’s was really nice. the food was good. too bad i didnt take any pictures. and for once william was there. he’s so tall. used to remember him being short and thin.

sunday morning i managed to meet up with huai keat. he’s doing national service there. i took the bus to bedok. and then we tried to persuade jon to come out too but he was still sleeping and reluctant to come out. he suggested that we went cycling. but we ended up at tampines. we went on a battery hunt. dad asked me to get some odd battery which he cant get in kl. we searched all the diy store there but no luck. so we went for breakfast at burger king’s. then we went to the supermarket. he suggested a few kind of food that i must try. we had fun. comparing life in singapore and kl. we walked till almost 11. it took us 20 minutes to look for the bus stop. i got back and lunch was ready. uncle frank made everyone wait for me to have lunch together. after lunch we load up the car and left.

i took us about 8 hours to get back to kl. the longest journey in the car. maybe we detoured on the way back. we didnt take the normal road through seremban highway, instead we took the mex, some new expressway.

i think i've been doing well for the past few weeks..

except for the sore throat that i've got last fri..

most probably it's from inhaling too much dust..

was re-organizing my hostel room not once but twice..

the warden came to inspect our place on wednesday and complained so much about the stuff that were lying outside on the study table.. apparently we cant put anything outside..everything must be in the room..

we would put them in the room if the room was 3 times bigger!

2 weeks ago, wang sim and i re-organized the room by removing the double-decker bed frame and left it outside the room..

wednesday came and the frame was back in our room while we were still at class..and it kinda pissed wang sim off because the warden opened our room door without our permission..

so we had to figure out a way to store the frame and we did..and then we went off to nap for the evening and she suggested that we fix the frame up again..

and so the bed was up again..we had more storage place ..on top and under..i decided to sleep on the since she would be around all the time and i go home every week and when i'm doing practical..this way both of us get the fan blowing at us..

and we haven been cleaning the top of the cupboards and i think a thick layer of dust has accumulated on them..and we moved them alot..

by night i was already coughing and having phlegm..i couldn't sleep till 4am..tossing and turning, finding a position that i could breathe properly..

i was voice-less by morning..had to use sign language to communicate..thankfully wang sim could understand..

after class it rained quite heavily..dropped ash off at her church and rushed home to pick krys up for tuition..dad dropped me off at the lrt station after that..went to klcc and met up with grand aunt kim..had dinner with her and went to isetan to shop..as usual, picky me cant find anything during sale..and we were there until almost 10..grand uncle boon came to pick us up and we went for supper in bangsar..i was still full from dinner so i just ordered a cup of hot tea..

after supper we had to stop by the house before dropping me home to get some meds for my throat..grand uncle gave me flu tabs and phlegm syrup..

i woke up almost noon on saturday..krys came back from 'run for the nation' event and disturbed me..i showered, had cereal and took my meds..grand aunt kim texted and asked if i wanna join her to go look for the shop that she was looking for on friday..they picked me up for lunch..i think the meds kinda messed up my mind and coordinations..i made them detour so many times..finally we got lunch and went down to kl..we were dropped off at sg wang plaza..and we found the shop that was supposed to be in klcc but moved to BB plaza..we spent about 3 hours in there..she bought 2 tops, a kebaya and chinese collared blouse..while waiting for uncle to come to pick us, we went to watson and i got more strepsils for my throat..

the three of us went for dinner together in SS2 and then we went to sunway pyramid for dessert..we went to this stall that sells ice dessert..i think it's taiwanese..then we walked around there until mum called me because i don't have the house keys..we met them in Giant (Kelana Jaya)..home sweet home..

dominic texted me and asked me if i wanna join them for church..but with my condition i was sure if i wanna go but i did..

the next day they came and picked krys and i up..worship was funny cause aunt stella went off key so many times but she managed to hold on till the end cause she had sore throat too..i was keeping phlegm in through the sermon time..but 15 mins before it ended i had to spit it out..much better after that..

after service we went for lunch at station 1 cafe..after that, we search our way to city harvest..heard of the name so many times but never been there..mun siong dad's was the judge for the 'iron chef' event there..hang around there for a lil while..met audrey there, she was selling j.co's donuts for charity..then we went for pool at rack's..

5pm i was home, ash and krys were sleeping..i helped mum out in the kitchen and then went to sleep until dinner time..

back in hostel in the morning..this week is gonna be short..monday till thursday class..

monday was GIT the whole day, tuesday was moral all day..everyday i come back and sleep thru till night..i guess the meds was the cause of it..

today i didn't have to wake up early..class didnt start until 1030..which was my 2nd formative paper for gynecology and obstetric nursing..i think it went alright except i didn't read much on abortion..i think that's where i'll lose marks..

cant wait to go home tomorrow!!

college days are back again. first subject of the day is GIT. and as usual i would be nodding off after 45 mins of lecture. she left the class at 9.30 and my head was buried in my arms for the next 45 mins.

the next subject was CVS and ms molly is the usual cheerful and making us pay attention all the time. asking us alot of question to connect the disease to common symptoms. and i managed to stay up through the lecture. maybe it's alot thanks to noni's chocolate cake which jess and i were sneaking to eat. the bottom is almost like cookie and pudding-like. but it was YUMMY! i finished the whole container after class and was really sick of chocolate.

i spent my lunch time watching video back in the hostel. grabbed my scarf and left for class at 1.30pm. and vimala announced that CM is not coming in but wants us to do notes on 'multiple myelomas'. most of us went down to the library. i did my notes and went stalk chee do her pharmacology assignments (90 drugs and their actions).

4pm and i'm back in the hostel. turn on my laptop and wang sim comes back. we torn the double decker bed apart (*well just dis-mantling). we moved our cupboards and tables. my table is now outside in the hall. now both of us get the fan blown towards us no matter what. this is the first time i cleaned the room so thoroughly since i moved in.

Andy just turned 19. we celebrated his birthday at Fortuna Court in OUG on Friday.

the process of the day

1. woke up at about 6.45 am to wash my hair

2. lay on the bed until mum said that dad will send me to TD

3. 8.50 am – left the house

4. 9-ish – arrive grandma’s place and waited for eunice’s call

5. went for breakfast at neela’s with eunice and carmen

6. watched “g-force” at GSC MV and managed to meet hui yi before she left for HK in the evening

7. was back at grandma’s by 1 something.

8. napped till about 6 pm and had dinner before the party

9. low kent texted and said that we’ll walk there together and said he’ll be there in 10 mins

10. went down to wait for kent ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~(20 mins later) still no sign of him so i walked towards his house, and almost reaching his place i see him and sue walking together

11. 15 mins later – at ct’s place. he was editing the video he was preparing for andy. eve, eve’s bro, joey, cp, lay kuan were alrd there.

12. 2 hours later – and we’re still there waiting. transportation arrangement, the video presentation, ct wasting time puffing away

13. left ct’s house (almost 9pm). picked up ke and met cp at his place. andy texted to get 1 carton of beer.

14. ct dropped us at the condo first and andy went with him to get the beer

15. i didnt like the atmosphere there. ~isolation~ is what i felt. luzman, joseph, loy sing, jia yi and some of andy’s college friends were there. sue and ke helped with the other bbq set. i was talking with luzman, joseph, and low kent.

16. and the talking goes on and on…….the whole night i didnt speak to andy much. he was pretty much occupied. ke was busy getting the charcoal to burn to cook his food. i kinda loss my appetite and thankfully i ate earlier

17. i called mum to pick me up at 10.30. ke dropped me off where he was supposed to. we went to old town for herbal tea. i guess i needed a cup badly

i saw no purpose being there when i’m not needed at all. i miss the old times and realized that things have changed tremendously when we’re all grown up. it cant be turned back to the way it was.

can i say i was disappointed?

Mystery Of the Papaya Seeds

monday night after dinner, mum drove dad’s “blue little taxi” to the apartment since he drove her car for dinner. i would say it’s gonna be my last time sitting in that car with mum’s driving. it almost gave my a heart attack. though she did drive the car when i was much younger and before she owned any automatic car. but she hasn’t driven a manual in a long time. she gear shifting ain’t smooth. she drive really close to the next car too. mum started cleaning the house while i removed the bed sheets from the 2nd room. then while waiting for the sheets to be ready we just planted our bodies comfortably on the sofas each and watched ‘lie to me’ until grand uncle boon called. he asked us to go over for cake. we were gonna celebrate grand aunt kim’s birthday. when the sheets were ready we left the house. arrived at grand uncle boon’s place but they weren’t home yet. so we sat in the car and waited. they went to pasar malam to get some fruits. they came back minutes later. grand uncle offered us papaya saying it’s organic and asked if mum wanted to plant them at home. the seeds were cleaned properly and kept in a clean plastic bag and left on the counter..

after all the singing and eating it was time to go home. suddenly i remembered my bag which i left on the chair and mum reminded me to collect the papaya seeds on the kitchen counter ~~~~

everyone came back to the kitchen and started searching through everything, including the rubbish bin…but it couldn’t be found anywhere. there were many “?” above all our heads. we left them searching and called them back home.

the next day, grand aunt kim called and said they found it in grand uncle’s kacang container…….he must have packed it in together with his preserved plum.

and that’s how the mystery was solved****

friday i was doing morning shift so i gave andy a call to check if they’re doing anything in the night..

we went for steamboat in cheras..chow ping, lay kuan, andy, ct, and i went to meet joey, andy’s “friend”..we started eating about 8-ish and finished about 10..we were disturbing ct alot and just laughing away through the night..after that we went to fireball near ucsi for pool..it just wasnt my day..i lost to chow ping..maybe it was just too late for me..was up since 6 am..

finally 1 last game and we went off looking for andy and joey..they were down at a mamak stall..we were there for about 10 minutes..

i arrived home and off to bed i went..

i had a self reflect moment..i never really thought about getting someone that i can rely on and having the thought that i can always count on my friends..but now look at things after so many years..everyone have grown older and not relying on their friends but partners instead..how can i not feel lonely..

i have to call andy or ct to find out if there’s any plans for the night..which come to think of it now kinda pathetic that i cant plan something for myself..they can always rely on me but i find it hard to rely on them now..

there’s no one that i can express my emotion to..everyone’s counting on me to help them but who’s helping me?!

woke up about noon today..

mum cooked porridge and was on the way out to the market to get some meat..i ate the whole container that was filled with melon and papaya and was stuffed..mum and dad came back and we started preparing lunch..dad finished cooking the porridge and i started with fried rice..then mum cooked preserved salted vegetables and chicken stew..

we wanted to go to ikea for beef balls but the queue getting into that area was long..so we decided to go the giant kota damansara instead..was there till about 5-ish..came home for early dinner and went out again..

went to jaya 33 to get my shampoo since it’s cheaper there alot at jaya grocer..bought 2 bottles and went to browse the bazaar..bought 2 necklaces..really pretty ones..then mum and dad bought some stuff from jaya grocer too and went to ace hardware as usual..they bought things from there again..

we went to pick up ct and andy from the condo and went over to ct’s..ct went to shower while andy was telling me about their night at pacific regency last night..he went with ct and jia yi invited by his college mates..emptied too many bottles to count and went clubbing without ct since he was totally knocked out..though they slept really early in the morning ct and andy managed to wake up for sunday service at city harvest church..andy was trying to call me to ask for directions but i was in deep sleep as i worked morning shift yesterday and went pool with dominic and was up till about 4 with mum..i tried calling him back but he was in service..i texted him and asked if they had any plans for the countdown..he replied saying to go meet them in td about 7..

then jia yi came by to pick us up from ct’s and went to pick low kent..we went to jalal and the went up to ezy’s..they played foosball and left me all alone there stoning..then wai heng, lek ka, kelvin and zhen hua came and they left together..we decided to get out of the place..discussed about it downstairs and i though since they weren’t doing anything, i should just go home and spend the rest of the night at home..i called mum and she said they were still at grand aunt kim’s place..so i asked if jiayi could drop me off there..we started arguing about where is nearer..and they suggested i should just go to asia cafe with them since i’ve got no plans too..and we did..jiayi said he wanted to drink starbucks and i agreed..they rest were putting on their, “i’ve got no money face”..i couldn’t be bother about them and said i can pay for his drink since he’s been driving me around and getting me home on time..i ordered him a mocha ice blended and myself a caramel cream ice blended...

we got a spot at asia cafe..waited for andy’s friends to come..eventually they turned up and started talking..but i was just listening the whole time and i texted krys to see if she’s home..she said she is but still outside of the house and suggested to meet up..

ben and krys came and they wanted to play pool..i left the table and joined them..we went upstairs but we had to wait a long list..so we went to club 9 instead..we played 3 games and left..krys couldnt take the odor and my head was still throbbing since i was and jalal’s with the guys..they were puffing away like there’s no tomorrow..one cigarette after another..ezy smells horrible then at asia cafe they all started again..club 9 smells the same..6 hours of it..

came home and realized mum and dad aren’t home yet..i couldn’t take it anymore and right into the shower i went..and my head still hurts though..

i finished reading the last series of “harry potter and the deathly hallows”. so much happened and finally a happy ending but too many sacrifices….

i finished my 3rd week of practical in medical a. i managed to get my ng tube insertion procedure there. thank god it was easy. i did it on an 80 year old lady. everyday i had to feed her thru the tube. from monday till today. i don’t like the smell of the milk. it reminded me of great grandma.

went for the ‘mismatched’ event in church with dominic and mun siong. the church was decorated with tees that were from my closet and krys’. the crowd was good..not too big or small.. some were really sporting..2 guys dressed up in kimono..one by the name of ivan aka ivy really looked like a girl won the best dressed for the guys’ category and the other guy got best effort..the girl who won best dressed was amanda who dressed like a cow girl with bears’ paws? the food was great..aunt tabitha really put alot into making them..

after the event we went to pool at club 9. and i was home by 12.

ean came to pick me up 9.30 in the morning. i was still in the shower when he came. arrived at tropicana city mall before 10. the escalators weren't working yet. we climbed all way up to the second floor. kinda drained out alot of energy as i didnt grab any bite before i leave the house. we stood there watching trailers for 20 minutes before seeing the radio people setting up their booths. first it was hot.fm, one of the malay stations. a few minutes later a guy wearing the fly.fm shirt came.

he had 3 pages of names with him. the lady in front started flipping the ages over and i see krystal's name before hers. i signed it and gave me 2 tickets! it was only 10.20. the hall didnt open till 10 mins before 11. we continued watching trailers. we bought a pop corn combo and went into the queue. it was free seating. we managed to get 2 good spots not too near the screen and about eye level.

the movie was more than 2 hours long. most of then time my mind was filled with questions. it was slow and draggy. we finished about almost 2. went to ean's house and joined uncle boon for lunch. we went to ss2. after that, instead of going home though it was near i went back to their place instead. sat at the dining table and read the newspaper for a lil longer than an hour. then i went to watch a lil tv and dozed off. mum came about 5 to drop aunt kim off and pick me up.

went home and shower. waited for krys and jasmine to come back from jogging. they came back about 7. they packed and we left for jasmine's place. grandma, aunt esther and aunt girly were there already. the two went to shower while waiting for aunt poh choo to come. darren was worn out after the mighty minds competition.

after dinner we celebrated jasmine's early birthday since she wont be around duuring her birthday on the 2nd august as she will be back in brisbane.

i stayed at home for the night and came back to the hostel this morning.

i just came back from watching 'obsessed' with ash at sunway pyramid. the cinema was only half filled. shouldnt have booked tickets. but got to save time from queuing. in the end someone dies under the chandelier. kinda lame story line. a temp girl who's obsessed about her boss. she started making up stories and writing a diary about their relationship.

i cant wait to watch harry potter and the half blooded prince. i'm still waiting for krys to let me know if she got the tickets from fly.fm.

another ordinary night

went to class as usual. dozed off as usual.

i showered and waited for mum to come pick me up later in the evening. she came by about 6. it was jam on the way home. she cooked dinner and we went to the apartment after that to check on the new 2nd hand washing machine they ordered last week.

i went through the pile of old vcds and tapes that we have since i was young. i found a few good movies which i was very fond of during my childhood years. i didnt know that i have ‘anastasia’ in the tape form. unfortunately it’s moldy already. all the tapes that i took out were moldy. *YUCK!* i also found nursery rhymes cds that mum used to play for us in the car when we were younger.

a while later the neighbor’s door opened. mum said that grandma came. immediately i went next door to see her. she brought dinner over for them. i had a lil since i missed her cooking so much. mum started washing some rugs to try out the machine. i was next door until she called and said she was leaving. it was past 10. i knew i was gonna be back at the hostel. mum had me bank in some cash into some accounts. it was almost 11. so i said i would stay home for the night.

we went to old town to pack some buns for morning and i went for a glass of cooling drink for my throat.

we got home and dad was shocked to see me home again. i frightened krys who was almost asleep.

i woke up about 5.50 to wash my hair. i stayed in the shower for 20 minutes enjoying the warm water that i missed. we left the house early too since mum was going down to johor today. arrived back at the hostel at 7 and found myself locked out. (i didnt bring the key along with the thought i was coming back after dinner). had to call my room mate to unlock the door and thankfully there was coverage in the stairs.

changed for college. and off the class for a short nap.

such long classes nowadays. more assignments and close deadlines. formative 1 is next week. GIT presentation and book due this friday, moral presentation is next two wednesdays.

after class, dad came to pick me, ash and yi wen. we dropped yi wen off at the train station and went back to the house. grandma was still around. i started my laundry and hunted for food. ash had her nap. i texted andy, called ct and low kent but all i get is disappointment. i tried my luck with luzman. finally he answered.

andy lost his phone, ct’s working at topshop, low kent changed his number. what friends are these?!

luz’s sent me jia yi’s number and andy was there with him in pasar malam. i wanted to know their plan but he said there wasnt but told me to go there and plan. after dinner, mum dropped krys of at the tuition centre. then we had to drop ash off at the train station. after that we head straight to td. on the way there i was still curious why hasnt choong hon replied my text. i tried to call and no answer then i thought to myself, did andy sent me another number? seconds i search my inbox and luckily i havent deleted it yet.

it was my first time getting to the pasar malam. i only been there once but never got out from the car. good thing i managed to find jia yi’s stall at the beginning of the road. i waited for more people to come. luzman came first and had a bowl of jia yi’s asam laksa and nasi lemak. a while later low kent, choong hon and andy came. we sat for a lil while while they all had a few puffs.

after that we went to ezy. they started off with foosball. cp, ming and lay kuan came a lil while later. then low kent and i opened 1 pool table. played a few rounds and ct came. then ct, andy and jia yi went down to jalal’s. after the last double game paired with low kent against choong hon and luzman which we won we joined them downstairs and played a prank on jia yi and ct. luzman hid ct’s bag in low kent’s bag and took jia yi’s keys. we were there until about 1 something and mum kept calling coz no one was awake to wait for me.

saturday

ke came with his girlfriend. still no intro. so we all ate. jia yi and ct went to send ming and cp home and came back. when it was pretty late i bugged jia yi to drive me home. so we settled the bill and went to ct’s place to change car. he managed to get me home in 8 minutes.

i got into the house and locked up the doors. mum went in to sleep. they didnt leave immediately coz they were waiting for ke and he’s a slow driver. then i realized a bright spot light facing the house. it was a police patrol car. i rushed to the doors and the police thought that they were robbers. so they needed me to confirm who they were.

they left and i got into the shower after the huge amount of cigarettes and shisha fume in my hair. i went online for a lil while and left my chatting friend without saying goodbye. it was 3 something then. i was sleeping deeply already.

*drew sidora – till the dawn* was playing and there was vibration under my pillow..

4:16 am – “private number calling” keeps flashing. “hello”, “can you please help me call andy?”, “huh?, i’m sleeping now.”, “i cant call them.”, “of course u cant. ct didnt bring his phone out, andy’s phone’s dead. fine i’ll try to call jia yi’s.”

4:18 am - “he didnt answer his phone. what happened?”, “we were at asia cafe and we left and said to meet back in td. i’ve arrived here 30 minutes waiting for them but still havent see them. wait, i think they’re calling.”, “ok, bye!”

4:23 am - “so u found them?”, “yeah. Thanks. Bye.” -end call-

turning on the bed for 30 minutes and krys woke up. she went out and came back to the room 10 minutes later. i dunno how long later i fall asleep.

what did i do in singapore?

did i shop? NO did i go sight seeing? NO i was tagging along with mum the whole day. slept in the car while going from 1 company to another. and later in the evening after work, we went to giant and bought fruits and candies. before that we were at hougang village and mum bought instant noodles. what should i have done? went onto the mrt and shop on my own! but i stayed behind in my comfort zone. not willing to step out on my own. i really wanted to shop but i didnt know what i was looking for. it's hard to shop when you do not know what you want. but it always happen to me. when i want something i can never get it and the opposite would happen when i'm not thinking about it.

today instead of tagging along with mum, i was helping su-en at her place.

the reasons why i don't like small kids:-

1-they're messy

2-rough [i was hit a few times, slapped, climbed onto, almost got wet]

3-mushy and needs damage control

4-pretends they don't like you when they actually do

5-wouldnt sit still while eating

6-play with food (joshua was playing with his animal pastas before cooking)

7-demanding

8-hyper active

9-drive adults up the wall

10-screams and wails

i had to put up with that this afternoon. before she realize it, caleb would be up and running about like joshua. how is she gonna handle them when she goes back to beijing? and here mum says she's not putting on weight. of course she's not. she eats and everything converts into energy to handle the 2 boys.

finally joshua went for nap at 1 and it was peaceful. su-en carried caleb out when i was watching mj's death news all over again on tv. he was giggling and his mouth just opens and closes as if he's talking. adorable~~

mum came to pick me about 4 and we hit the road home. we stopped by the petrol station for petrol and i took over the wheels. su-en called and said joshua was looking for me. he said i wa supposed to stay the night. she said he was sad that i left. i drove half way back and stopped before malacca exit. mum took over the wheels. then we stopped by at the aver keroh overhead bridge restaurant. we order kfc take out and ate in the car. and we arrived kl about 9. and i'm worn out now! nights~~~~~~~

one pillow

may ling, su lin, jiayi, andy and i slept over at ct’s on friday. i was a lil tipsy after a few drinks with justin. i think my hung over occurred on the same night. my head was so heavy that every time i blink it hurts.

may ling n su lin shared 1 pillow while the other pillow was given to me. somehow andy wanted to dry his hair so he moved nearer to me since the fan was blowing towards me and planted his head on the pillow. i still could get half the pillow. the lights were off. jiayi was between ct and andy. the first hour was continuous laughing between those 3 mad men.

then jiayi started moving closer to andy. andy keeps pushing me away slowly and finally i’m only on inches of the pillow. i was hugging my towel and fought back to back with andy. and finally my head was flat on the bed.

and the time pass slowly. my head continues throbbing through the night. every time i open my eyes the sky was brighter and brighter. i think the security guard passed by 4 times. and the birds started singing. i got up and just sat there staring at them sleep. wondering to myself how can they sleep like that? chen yang came in twice to get his stuff. ct’s mum peeped in. andy woke up for a while. 8 o’ clock, my head was still throbbing. i woke ct and he asked him to send me back to gma’s. i kno only there i can sleep.

i got there and she wasnt in. she was on her way back from the market. i tot i was gonna faint at the door step. she came back finally. i showered and went straight to bed. i was awaken to many phone calls and text messages again. finally i got up about 3. showered again and watched drama.

friday came fast. thurs night was long. sat here waiting for andy’s call. everytime i call or text him, his replies were always the same, “still waiting for ke, he just arrived home, changing”. argh! i decided i went offline and watched tv until he called. and he calls and ask me how to come to the house when he came here a million times. i got into the car. surprised seeing another gal in the car. but no conversation between both of us. it was only andy and i talking, while the gal and ke.

supposed to go td for bball but ended up yum cha coz of ke coming late. low kent was a lil pissed off as usual. i couldnt be bothered about it. we were at mamak for about 2 hours i think. then we went for pool at ezy’s. played till about 1 something. the whole night i think it was rather awkward or just plain rude. still no introduction until both of them left. . . anyway does it even matter?

got back to grandma’s. washed up and was ready to sleep. 2 o’ clock, 3 o’ clock, 4 o’ clock. the tv was still on. grandma was still watching her chinese drama. my gosh! finally she came to bed.

woke up to many miss calls from many people and text messages too. can’t they just let me sleep in peace. i finally pulled myself up about 12 and went to shower. andy said they were coming at 1.15 but they came half and hour later. i didnt know what was goin on until we went to mamak. all along he was talking about the bbq. who’s coming, who’s confirmed and not. what to buy and prepare. we went to MV and bought the stuff and cch sent me home. i showered again when i got home.

the weather is terrible now. it’s summer in malaysia. temperature can go as high as 36 degrees celcius. dad joked a few days ago. if i’m gonna get a job in greenland or iceland, he’ll come live with me. and mum said if i’m going that far she won’t come to visit as it takes a few days to get there. *hahaha* then i said i’ll work in canada then, both of them said ‘good’.

i’ve been home the past two days. just stayed in my room and watched dramas till the day becomes dark.no one called me out yet.

took the train to bangsar and then a cab to taman desa to meet the boys. it then started raining. so jia yi, andy, chen tseng and i just chat and laughed until low kent, jeffrey and kevin came. low kent. chen tseng and i didn’t swim while the rest did. we talked and i decided to go home since there weren’t any basketball. before i left i emptied andy’s stuff from my bag. and i looked at andy’s pitiful phone. the back cover was loose. the last time low kent used masking tape to put it back together and andy removed it. this time we taped everything of his together.

dropped CT home. we went to uncle ling’s place for food. uncle mosquito was there too. then dad went to collect circular saw from uncle mossie’s place. back in PJ, went to aunt karen’s place with intentions to collect ginger only. in the end we stayed for supper. arrive home 12 something and i went off to bed.

Went to college from home. Arrived about 6.50. too early……..

went to the waiting room..read a lil of my notes and took a nap till everyone came. it was anatomy and physiology paper..kinda my kind of nightmare paper since i’m not good at memorizing..anyway i answered whatever i know i left some questions blank as my mind has got no answers to them too..thought of going home early since there weren’t anything else to do..

suddenly ms parimala requested us to stay back for the clinical practice..she wanted to make sure that we know the steps and what precautions to take. then after lunch we had to do clinical area evaluation.. it was boring…left college about 3.30..went up to joanne’s to wait for mum…

mum came at 4..she dragged me to TM building first..it’s a boring place..lucky i brought my novel along..i finished reading it and went to the main door to wait for mum..after that we went to FNN..i dozed off until we arrive home..after they had dinner at home..dropped krys at tuition and then mum went to pack dinner for grand aunt kim who was down with dengue fever then dropped me off…

was supposed to join ct for asam laksa at jia yi’s but i turned up quite late..so managed to join andy and low kent at ezy for pool..kent and i teamed up and went against andy and ct’s fren who lives in the opposite condo..then the 3 of us went to jalal since i dint eat dinner yet..had thosai and 2 cups of drinks…then ct came and we went to collect dumplings from grandma’s place first..kent went home to take money and then pick up jia yi from his house…then eve came..went to jalal’s again..then wanted shisha..the last few people i thought would smoke are now smoking..ct, andy and kent all smokes!!and the all 6 of them were shisha-ing and smoking except for me..i went home with all the smell and blocked nose..but i had a good laughing time with them..managed to catch up with kent whom i haven seen for a long time..

Jiayi drove the car..he was speeding with ct’s problematic car..luckily i survived everything..

came home and krys was still watching boys over flowers since she came back from tuition..company her until about 2 and went to sleep..

Saturday i spend the whole day accompanying grand aunt kim..we watched tv and was talking about korean dramas all evening until dinner..mum and dad came over for dinner..grand uncle boon bought dinner back..was around there until 9 something..came home, shower and online and was downloading videos..chatted with a friend till really early in the morning..

Have been home more than usual..another 3 more papers to go..microbiology and parasitology, fundamental of nursing and clinical practice (still haven’t practice my skills yet..AHHHH!!!!)

after this week i’ll be back in the hospital for 3 weeks..hopefully i’ll be able to chase up with all my crosses..even more stress when i actually have to chase for 8 more crosses at least to be safe.

can’t wait for holidays..next saturday we’re having our nurses’ day out at desa waterpark (of all places!)..

I’ve finished reading the twilight saga.. can’t wait to watch the movies now..

sleepless nights

it’s hard to get some sleep back in the hostel. it’s really warm in the house. and boring. occupying myself with novels. alrd done reading ‘remember me?’ reading ‘eclipse’ now and almost the end. and half-way thru ‘if you could see me now’. cant put my head into gear for studying. and also practicing for my clinical practice exam.

there’s some good news. no more classes on saturdays.so i can catch up with my sleep and hang out more i suppose. however, if tutors wants to have clses we have to be there. we’re getting our id tags in july (after so many moons). staff health wont be free anymore. good thing mum bought insurance.

that’s it for the past 2 days here. and broadband sucks here!

my 7 weeks practical ended yesterday. monday i’ll be back in college for my summative exam. then i’ll be back in the hospital for 3 weeks and my 2 weeks holiday starts! haven decided what to do then.

the past few days has been hectic. great grandma was admitted in selayang hospital. went to stay with her on thursday after work till mum came. then went for supper at jalan ipoh with uncle mosquito, last grand aunt and 4th grand aunt. we had dim sum. we were starving and so we stuffed ourselves quickly and went home.

the next day, dad went to the cemetery while mum was still in the hospital. they came back together and we went for lunch. mum ordered alot. krys had already left for youth camp. so it was the 3 of us. we went to uncle mike’s house in templer’s park. his house is still in a mess. the furniture are not all in yet. so mum and i left dad there and went to kepong to see aunt eva. was there till dad and uncle mike came. went to uncle larry’s place for dinner. he called jasmine on Skype. we managed to catch up a lil. she has cool weather there. later on we went to tesco. i didnt know that dad was serious about toilet rolls. one pack of 10 is rm7.89. he bought 15 packs. just toilet rolls cost rm100+. we packed till the car was really full. the backseat enough for 2 people to fit in.

great grandma was discharged saturday. last grand aunt and her family came over for dinner. then we went to the apartment to see great grandma. her leg looked much better. no more redness but so warm and swollen a lil. they said she was confused when they bought her back. and the past few days when she was in the hospital, she didnt complain about pain. suddenly she was screaming her head off. some just assume that she wants attention and want to go home soon. we were there until about 1 am.

was awake pretty early the next morning. had to pack my thing to go back to hostel. mum made me walk to 7 11 to get newspaper and bread. the weather was pretty cooling then. reminded me about the breeze i felt in sydney. if i was mistaken it was a friday when andie and i went to the city for lunch. it was sunny and windy. for the first time in so many weeks i felt the wind in my face. the night before was thundering and flashing. thank god i was too worn out. went to bed about 3. went by to ss14 to mph distribution then i was dragged to giant to get some more toilet rolls. wouldnt wanna imagine how long those rolls are gonna last.

just came home..went book shopping at mph distribution..bought 3 books..

i’m so tired.

last week was bad. first i found my cross book with my clinical instructor. then i think i crossed a doctor. the whole day i felt so bad. but good thing the patient was to be discharged. that doctor problem was over and done with. but my cross book is another problem. it’s still with her.

today was like hell…………………………………………………

one observation after another,

admission after another, then have to explain stuff to juniors who are basically all the same age as me. the whole ward it’s only me and amirah, another friend from my semester. each one of us in charge of one wing. thank god! my wing has got no patient on iv drip and i/o charts. so tired!

The worst day of Sem 2…..

I saw another procedure of manual evacuation…..

This time it’s worst than the old man last year…

She hasn’t had any bowel movement for the past 5 days..Tho a few bottles of Fleet Enema were given but there was still no sign..the afternoon she complain of abdo discomfort..the staff nurse ordered a bottle of enema again..i went to get the CI from the next ward..when i went to the room, CI said to do manual evacuation…the moment she puts her finger into her anus the feces just keeps coming out..until a moment where there was a big piece that got stuck and she had to put her finger in again and dig it out...the smell was…………………..we had to borrow an air freshener from the housekeeping and spray the room….at one point only watery stool came out and the whole diaper was flooded and so was the inco pad below….

In the end we had to change the linen….that wasn’t all…

In the night, just before I left…about 8.45, she request for the enema…i went to talk to her and she said she still feel bloated and there’s still some more stool…so i prepared everything and called the CI again..this time all the fluid went in…within a few minutes she passed flatus and about 1/4 of the fluid came out…THANK GOD I was wearing gloves….

People if u don’t wanna experience manual evacuation,

PLEASE EAT YOUR VEGETABLES AND FRUITS…..DON’T FORGET TO DRINK PLENTY OF WATER TOO!!

i spent alot of money last month and prob this month too... RM293 for my external hard disk, cooler, mouse, usb port,and headphones... RM180 for an upgrade of RAM... RM150 for phone bill where RM99 has got nth to do with me... it's getting stressful now...i realized that my cross book is missing...it's always in my bag...last thurday or friday it was GONE! what am i to do?!?!?!?! i've got a few crosses to obtain these 2 weeks..ARGH!!!!!!

there's absolutely nothing to do after college ends..it's going back to the hostel and study or sleep or eat...that also depends if u really want it that way or get a life...

some people would spend some money and go out after class..to sunway pyamid, summit or mydin..they would pay about RM5 or more by cab...theere's a bus stop on the main road but it's pretty dangerous for a group of girls to walk out..so they advise us not to go anywhere unnecessarily..but some just cant help it..they need proper food!

the restaurant here is boring..it's a malay shop..cant take it if u're eating from the same restaurant everyday, could u?luckily, some guys opened a burger stall outside the campus..but i havent tried it yet..

my days are like this....

leaves college about 4 and either takes the lift or stairs to the 4th floor..shower and then sit in front of the laptop for the next few hours watching dramas or animes..then about 6 something or earlier i'll be searching for food..usually i bring alot of food stuffs from home..i'll be munching away while watching...

my roomie, wang sim and house mate who is my senior, shin yi would cook sometimes and we'll have dinner together..they're both from kuching, sarawak..

wang sim is chinese-ed so she does alot of translation from the notes..her table has got 2 dictionaries, 1 meg-surg book (which weighs about 2KG), fundamental of nursing book (another 1.5KG) and a pharmacology book (about 800g)..she would ask me to explain things that she doesnt understand and i'll ask her to teach me chinese..

some days jessica would come down and 'steal' my food..but i'm happy to have her around..sometimes i would offer to cook dinner and joanne, nat, and jess would be around..

joanne and nat are also late comers to enrol..i was the latest among all 3..we're pretty close..they would be at my place during lunchtime everyday..coz my block is the nearest and coolest..they're all living on the 7th floor in the other blocks..we're always looking forward to saturdays coz we all go home..

that's how my life is right now....feel so pathetic!

it has been a month

Semester 2 didn't begin as bad as Semester 1. It's only been 6 months since the 1st Semester. And it's a whole new year. Tutors are different from last year and so is the committeen members. Now I know my college mates much better and we moved to a new hostel and college. Well, now it's called a campus! but we all stil prefer the condo. the facilities suck here. Ther number of people living in 1 unit has increased from my view. The rooms are much smaller and 2 pathetic bathrooms for 9 people in my unit. The TV room and the cooking room is on the ground floor. Luckily I'm staying with 2 pretty good Sarawakians. One's a senior in Semester 4 and the other is my room mate in the same Semester. Chinese New Year We're getting a week off fom college. But due to having a 8 to 4.30 class 2 Saturdays ago, The college has decided to refund us by letting us go on Saturday. So I can't wait to go home tomorrow. Unfortunately, there's Pharmacology exam and class tomorrow till 4.30. Though it's just half hour more, most of us can't bear his monotonous lecture for 7 hours. After CNY, that whole week is exam week. *sigh!

Shopping at Pavilion and Singapore

jess' lion pencil case the past week i've going out with grand aunt kim alot. we went shopping at pavilion.

the first day was just a sudden invitation. so grand uncle dropped us off there. most of the time we were window shopping since i couldn't find anything nice and was a lil lost most of the time.

then we went to lot 10 for dinner at crystal jade with grand uncle boon. the food were alright. after that the both us continued walking hoping to find something to buy. that night i got back about 11 and i was expected to be back in the hostel. dad sent me back and i arrived about 11.30. thank god there wasn't anything important in college the next day.

was excited about my results tho. but was afraid about my practical result. i totally blew it! i forgot most of the steps since i didnt read the procedure book before hand and just did it according to my instinct and experience from the hospital.

on saturday we got our results back. i passed! i didnt fail any paper. the rest of the day was boring during class.

the administrators and tutors were busy packing and cleaning the college since we're moving to a new buliding in section 26. everythign goes into boxes and we have to help them sometimes. we were ripping up papers along the corridor and passing down boxes thru the human chain. besides that we played uno cards all day and some were learning how to knit.

we all left for holidays after the last day which was saturday. but on tuesday was suchh a waste time that i went to the hostel thinking that they're go nna move everything in the morning. when i arrive everyone brought their stuff down at the lobby and were waiting for something to happen. i went to my unit and see what was there to bring down but there was nothing since i have tranported everytthing back home. so they told me that the lorries are coming at 10.30. so left with mum. she had some cheques to collect. went back to the condo and puan lynn said that they will bring everything there. so mum brought me to nthe new building and we went up to see my room. it's such a pathetic place!

the rooms are super small!it reminds me of the old place in raub. the thin walls and half way up. and the bathrooms are tiny. i've got no idea how long am i gonna survive living in that place.

after that day i went to pavilion again. this time i bought a blue top from bossini and a bag from billabong. then dinner in the food court. went home and slept off.

wednesday afternoon mum called me and asked me if i wanna go to singapore mwith her the next day. i called grand aunt kim and she said she would go if she completes her errands that night itself. so she was all over the place sending products. she got home about 10 almost 11. at that time she told grand uncle boon that she's going. he was shocked! she never left them before.

the next morning i woke up about 5.30 to shower. we left the house about 6.30. i drove half way and then mum continued driving. then we went to pick up mum's colleague from the office. went for lunch at some porridge restaurant. then we went down to singapore. we went thru the new ciq building. the road was winding and still link bback to the old link. mum dropped us off at orchard road. i brought them to tangs. then mum came by and bought some stuff. we went back to jb to drop her colleague off and then bought ramli burger for my dear pregnant cousin, su-en in singapore who's craving for it.

before that we dropped by at aunt vivienne's to drop off uncle philip's photo. but he wasnt home. grand aunt poh neo was home with matthew and the maid. i haven seen matt since the kenyir trip which was many years ago.

The smiling night

the sky had a smiling face last night.. two starts above the moon which represented the mouth.. the summative exam started on monday..everything i did i'[m proud of it..i really have confidence that i will pass this time but of course not with distinction just maybe borderline which is good for now.. haven't been studying alot lately but a lil reading do me good enough..i was able to answer most of the questions leaving out a few which i did not cover but it's alright.. the other points can get me through i'm sure..can't wait to enjoy my two weeks break.. but still there's things to worry about..when are we moving hostel?? is it gonna be a great place? would i be experiencing what i did the first time i was in the hostel? the feeling of fear and hate about the place.... is there anymore freedom? time really flew pass without me knowing..12 weeks ago i thought i would be going through a tough time in practical..within a blink of an eye my practical training is over and christmas is coming..how soon is that?! around this time last year, i just finished spm..moving back and forth from pj to play basketball and hang out with the boys..two weeks later i was in sydney spending the last free ticket i could have from sia..graduating from high school and now in college...looking back i miss those time i had.. from now on everything is so much different on this side of life..more independence and courage is needed to face everyday life..everyday i would ask myself the same question, "Ally, are you ready to face a new day?" and i would pray and thank the Lord for giving me a new day to live in.. all the 18 years i had on earth, the one thing i appreciate most is the friendship i had..though there were a lil conflict somewhere, things worked out alright.. i found a note a few days ago, i couldn't recall anything about it.. it was between eunice and i.. i can't believe i was so naive at that time.. why didn't i listen to what she said.....things might have been different now.. and i wouldn't feel so regretful.. good new to tell the world...we're gonna have a reunion between all the old gang..it's been years since we all got together..

Praying obediently everyday that He will give my courage and wisdom to carry out my duty as a student. And He never fails me. He's always there to listen. He's always there when i call. He never leave me alone. He guides me everyday even when i don't need Him. He's there all the time. He gives me everything what more can I ask for.

I love Him with all my heart! Thank You Jesus!

ZZZZZzzzzz............ i woke up looking at my watch thinking it's only 12.30am. double checked with my phone........(checking...)......WHAT?! It's 5 already?! no wonder i heard the water running in the bathroom, someone must be already up. i opened the door quietly and went back to sleep. changing my alarm time to 5.30am. it's raining.....................*sigh! have to use an umbrella...NO! got to the gas station as usual and waited for the bus. it's pack as usual. everyone in uniform going back to college. some doing revision already, some still has their play mood on. first day back in college after 11 weeks feels weird. nothing seems to have change. opened my A&P book and started doing the exercises. did a few chapters until class ended. ann yee said the gas stove in the hostel ran out of gas therefore i can't cook anything. i called mum immediately. so she came to the hostel to pick me up and we went to pick grant aunt choo to survey shops for tiles. we went to old klang road. after that we went to pasar malam to buy some fish balls for dinner. after dinner we went to the hospital to visit david who was admitted for dengue fever. after that i came back to the hostel and did some revision and went to bed.

It's a Sunday morning..

Waiting for my alarm to go off as usual but not usuually on a Sunday morning that early. I got up. Opened the room door quietly and peeked if anyone has woken up yet. HMMMM......No sign of anyone. Went back into the room and tuck myself back into my cosy blanket and closed my eyes. Some soft tune was playing from my phone. I thought it was another alarm, pressed the red button. OOPS! It's mum calling to see if i'm up.

I pulled myself out of bed again and went to the bathroom. Who wakes up 7 am on a sunday morning?!

We wshed up and damn my throat still has the poking sensation that has been around since Friday morning. We drove over to Grandaunt Kim's place to pick Granduncle Boon and her. Then we had a slow drive back to Raub. We arrived about 9. Had breakfast in the house then went to the morning market. It was a pretty nice day to be out. Went back to the house. Laze around then help Mei with the pot of porridge. I helped with the stirring. And finally one big pot of porridge done!

We left about 3 pm. Stopped at Bentong for ice-cream. Yummy! peanut and banana flavours..........COOL!

Slept all the way back to KL. I wanted to drive home but I was still a little sleepy so I continued sleeping through. Did some banking for mum then went home and started baking. At one point I thought to myself...."Why didn't I pursue in baking instead of nursing?"

Still haven't got an answer to that.
